: I have a water softener that, after 13 years, is no longer softening as it did. I suspect that the ion-exchange resin in the main tank is worn out. Is there a source for resin replacement kits? The balance of the system is in excellent shape and I am loathe to spend $400-$500 to replace the entire system when it is only the resin that needs replacement. : thanks
