Frost free units have a drain pan underneath where the water is suppose to evaporate. Mold and other nasty stuff forms in this pan if it does not evaporate it should be emptied and cleaned periodically. If the unit is out of level the water is collecting in the low side of the pan and overflowing. Also, the water is channel from the freezer unit through a tube to the pan. This tube could be disconnected or clogged and causing your problem, check it out.
