Thanks Kieth for the info. My homeowner policie cover s this but I have $1000 deductable and the cost quote is $1300 .I don't know if it is a "pitless" but i'll find out.
The well is 60 feeet down and I had not thought about the weight. I suppose I could use an A frame and pully system. If you know, Do I need to know something special about how to disconnect the pipe below grade at the well where it enters the 4" well pipe? Also after installation will I have a problem primint the line? Thanks again.
