I do not understand what you mean by "less grout lines', since the grout is the only thing that would seal the cracks between the tiles. If you use an epoxy grout, the grout will not normally mildew or stain. Corian and cultured marble do not have a good drain seal and will often leak and let water accumulate under the floor and become foul smelling. A good pan installation, with a proper concrete set tile will usually give the best shower stall. Besides, it would be an unusual room that has access to bring a one piece enclosure in and set it in place. : DEAR TERRY,
