Most plumbers install water supplies at 8". I don't believe you will be able to "hide" the supplies for the pedastal lav, but you can try. You may want to look into good looking shutoff valves and solid risers for the supply lines.

: I need to move my waters in closer together for a pedestal sink to hide the connections. We have not yet decided on the sink. I would like to go ahead and move the water lines. What is the normal distance between the two lines for a standard pedestal sink?
