I assume it is a popping noise. If so, it is the tubing expanding, (growing), as it heats up, and then the same noise should occur as it contracts when cooling. Plastic expands and contracts more than copper tubing, so the noise may have been there previously but not noticed. But, more than likely, the CPVC is anchored good enough to make the noise but not tight enough to not allow the expansion to occur.
