From what I have seen, resurfacing a porcelain tub is one of the most horrible things to ever do with a tub! Resurfacing causes great limitations to the use of the tub, plus, the paint comes off easily. No Dogs! No matts, no shampoo containers or anything can be in constant contact with the tub where it traps moisture! : What seems to be the industry standard process for resurfacing a castiron porcelain tub? We had ours done about 10 years ago but nothing seems to be as good as the original finish. What new better techniques our available now?
