My grinder pump only hums most of the time and only pumps every 1 out of 10 times. I took the pump out but really have no idea what to do. Most likely i'll have to replace it. Since I took it apart I guess installing one is not that difficult? Any suggestion of what kind to get- would Loews Hardware or Home Depot be a good place to get it? The pump is used to pump out wash water and water used to clean the Iron and Water Softner Filters. One day it may be used for toilet waste also if I finish the basement. Thanks for any help.
