:If this is something that just has arisen it and you have a septic system it could be a minor problem. I had the same symptoms and then a "clog". I went outside and opened the inspection port (a 6-8 inch PVC pipe) I noted that the waste fom the house was clogging up with tissue at the point of entry into the tank. I dislodged the clog with a broom handle just fine. Since then we changed our toilet tissue to one of less of a ply rating and haven't had a problem since. THX.
