My wife accidentally spilled hot wax into our kitchen sink during a craft group. The disposal is fine and I removed a wax clog from the trap, but we are still getting water backing up into the sink. I used a powered cable auger to go into the pipe behind the wall to about 10-15 feet with no success. Any suggestions short of a pro or any info on a drain cleaner that would dissolve wax? Thanks.
