I am remodeling an upstairs master bath w/42 x 72 tub, w or w/o whirlpool haven't decided. Am also adding large shower. My concern is to use acrylic tub/shower pan w/tile surrounds or full cultured marble for all. Will cultured marble last as long as acrylic? Do they both hold heat equally well in large tubs? Also, I have a large spa downstairs and would like to jet master tub as well but am concerned by leak potential of both cultured marble and acrylic jetted tubs over 15-20 year period. what are track records of jetted tub installations? Thanks in advance?
