|In response to Re: Moen shower faucet hot/cold swapped|
You are removing the cartridge and rotating it. Just take the handle off and turn the stem half way around with a pair of pliers and put the handle back on. Do not turn off the water to the house when you do it.
: We had a new house built and the shower has a Moen faucet. It is a shower only so there is no lower spiget, only the shower head. The faucet has off on the bottom, rotate counterclockwise for cold, and more counterclockwise for hot. It hot and cold work backwards, off on the bottom, counterclockwise gets hot, further counterclockwise gets colder. Moes said to remove the knob and turn the valve 180 deg without removing it. I tried this and it did not work. Any ideas?
