They are all safe for the toilet, the only problem is that they will not solve your difficulty. You either have to use a closet auger on it or remove the bowl and check for an obstruction. : I have an upstairs toilet that drains slowly (it fills the bowl more than it should, and then the water siphons down until air can enter the trap, then it fills the bowl.) I have tried plunging it, but to no avail. The problem is that it is not [entirely] clogged, so it is only a partial blockage. : It was flowing freely before, and there are no children in the house, so I don't believe it to be a toothbrush/comb caught in the trap. Is there something along the lines of Liquid Plumber or Drano that is safe to use on a toilet?
