Put the seat in, but have a quality installer do the job. Seats are very nice to have in a shower. Many people use a triangle design for the seat which takes up less room and is easier to waterproof.

: I have heard that shower seats can leak--we are considering installing a seat (using ceramic tile) in our new bathroom and are wondering if this is a wise idea. Any thoughts?
