: : When I turn the bath faucet all the way off, there is still a trickle of water that continues to come out. My question is this: can this problem be fixed without opening up the wall and installing an entirely new faucet/shower assembly? The faucet is a Gerber (one hot water control, one cold water control, a central faucet, and a handle above the faucet that turns to direct water to the shower-head), and it was installed in 1972 when the house was built. Thanks for any help you can give. : I would try looking up Gerber's web page. I believe the address is www.Gerberplumbing.com Just take the stainless steel tube and cover off to expose the valves. Get a valve wrench and unscrew the valves from the body and replace them. It will take five minutes. |
