These tools are available at tile stores or your local home improvement center. The work itself is time consuming, as you must scrape as much grout from the joints as possible. Care must be taken at the intersections of the tile, as chipping or cracking might occur. After you have removed 1/8 to 1/4 inch of the old grout, you can re-grout the lines with the color of your choice. Although this job is something that the "do-it-yourselfers" can tackle, you may want to check the local phonebook under "tile". Most areas have at least one company familiar with re-grouting.
