Was it a drain or vent pipe? Depending on what kind of sleeve he installs, it could be a permanent fix. : We just had a satellite TV system installed in our home and the installer managed to drill through both sides of a plastic drain pipe. His company is going to get a plumber to repair it, ostensibly by installing a sleeve over the damaged area. My question is "what is a satisfactory fix in this type of situation?" I don't want a leaking pipe several months or years in the future. Any advice about what we should look for? Thanks.
