Water too hot and is causing water to drip from heater into the sump pump drain. In the beginning water would get too hot and unit would shut down and I would have to press reset button. This would have to be done every 2-3 days depending on the temperature outside. Lately the water is very hot and unit isn't shutting down this has been going on for a week. The thermostat has been changed but I am still having the same problems. The heater is electric, kenmore. I guess I need to contact a plumber-Please advise and give me some idea as to charge and what is going on with this water heater!!!
