It is not likely to help a great deal. A 3/4" riser does not have enough area for the hot water to rise and allow stratified circulation. The 15' horizontal measurement is not significant. In fact if it would work, and the horizontal pipe does not go up and down between the heater and the riser, it should already be doing the job.
THE HOT WATER HEATER IS IN THE BASEMENT . OUR BATH IS ON THE THIRD FLOOR. ALSO THE HEATER IS HORIZONTALLY ABOUT 15 ' FROM THE BATH RISER..I CAN'T GET A RECIRC LINE TO THE BATH ONLY THE BOTTOM OF THE RISER. WOULD A 3/4 " RECIRC LINE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RISER ALLOW HOT WATER TO RISE UP THE RISER AND PRODUCE HOT WATER SOONER?
