Paul:--To maintain the proper air/water ratio in your water storage tank there are two things that can be done.
1). Install an AVC (air volume control) on your pump. AVC is about $10-$15 plus installation.
2). Install a new captive air tank according to the instructions provided with the tank. The bigger the tanks' draw down equivelence the easier will be the load on your pump.
My preferance would be the captive air tank approach...Bud.
