I opened the valve at the bottum of my hot water heater and got a bunch of odd grity white stuff. Calcium I think. I closed the inlet, opened the relief valve and drained it. I did this at least five times and consistantly got the same amount of crud. How can I clean this out? It doesn't look like I can remove the unit and without some serious pluming, and it's only 4 years old. Is there a cleaning agent I can put in there that will disolve this stuff and let it come out that way? |
