It seems that when constructing a mud/tile shower floor, sometimes a sloped subfloor is prepared with mud before the vinyl liner is put down, sometimes the liner is put down directly over a level subfloor. Is it really necessary to have the sloped subfloor? Opinions? Thanks. JP
