You will probably be able to do it since the critical factor is the size of the seat openings in the faucet and very few have seats with a 1/2" opening in them. And it takes four 1/2" pipes to equal a 1" pipe. : My question is whether it is advisable to use a 3/4" (thermo valve) with incoming 1/2" hot/cold lines in order to increase the flow of water? I have three stations to feed and would like to have at least two running at the same time. Will water pressure play an important role here? I have been told this is a good way to go since, in reality, I have 1" of piped water coming into the valve. They say if my water pressure is at least 60 psi it should work just fine. Thanks for your answer.
