The true Huddee rim used corner clips to hold the sink and rim together. If they were removed after the installation then you have to support the sink somehow. Other rims use punch outs in the rim to support the sink. Look up around the sink to see if there are several metal supports around it. If so then you can remove the clips and they will support the sink
: how do you remove a cast iron sink w a hooty rim. the clips hold both the bowl to the rim and the rim to the counter. if i loosen the clips, the bowl will fall on me, and that wont be any good. do you remove all components and block it from under the sink,remove the clips and hope the block doesnt give out?
