Drano will not clear all clogs. You may need to use an auger to clear the drain. Also, make sure that the drain pipe is as tall as is practical above the trap.
: My washing machine works just fine but when the water starts to drain water is overflowing at the drain pipe. I thought it might have been a clogged drain so I added drano foam cleaner but to no effect. If I let the water drain slow there seems to not be a problem but I have to turn the washer on and off to get it to where it will not drain on floor. What else should I be doing?
