These Islands possess no naturaly occuring water sources, and have much the same problem that you are dealing with. There are composting toilets available that require no water to operate, are very efficient and are odor free. The waste is rendered into an odorless resource for agriculture. And there are no negative effects upon the environment. Think of it this way...If you were a fish or whale, would you want someone to flush a toilet into your Living Room?
This is just one of many offerings of this sensible means of waste disposal for the responsible inhabitants of this planet. If you would like to pursue this option, there are many here who would be delighted to assist you. Ahrmand
