|In response to Re: Standard supply pipe ID|
3/4" copper is the norm. 3/4" CPVC plastic has the same opening as 1/2" copper. And 1/2" plastic, if it is CPVC has a 3/8" opening which is too small for any use except a single fixture. If you used regular PVC piping, then you have a bigger problem than just undersized piping.
: Can you tell me what the standard supply pipe size is?
: A few years ago I took all of my galvanized pipe out and replaced it with 1/2 inch plastic. When you take a shower, and someone starts the washer it really affects your water temperature. Some tell me that 3/4 is the norm. Thank You.
