|In response to Re: Toilet bowl water level|
go up on the roof and run a snake down the vent. best guess is that it is plugged. scound guess is a cracked toilet (not likely if not worked on lately)
: Every so often when I go to use the toilet I notice that the water level in the bowl has gone down since the last flush. I know a toilet has its own trap and should level off after flushing. I gutted and repiped the entire bathroom about 2 years ago and the toilet is properly piped, 3" PVC drain & 2" vent that tees off the drain and goes up the wall right behind the toilet. The vent ties together with the shower vent and sink vent before going out the roof. Why would the level mysteriously go down? This just started happening. The toilet is a Kohler Rialto if that helps.
