The opening in the floor should be 12" from the back and also from the side wall to make it look right. It would have to be a very bad installation for the flange to be that close to the side wall. If your drain flange has a metal ring, it should rotate to the new orientation, otherwise you will have to remove the flange and install a new one. : i want to install a corner toilet in the same location as the existing toilet....(lousy layout in bathroom)... : it should fit right into the corner on the existing drain......do i need to redo the drain flange?..if so how?... : (slab foundation) any ideas? ....thanks
