Cloudy Well Water

My well water cloudiness is air that swirls around in a glass coming out of the spigot. It even bubbles(very tiny) out of the top as if it is carbonated. After a minute or so it starts clearing from the bottom moving up until the water is crystal clear in a couple of minutes. I have been told that this is a problem with the air volume control on the tank. Have you heard of this problem?
