: I am about to frame a wall for a shower in my basement. The roughed-in drain for the shower is about 14 inches from the current framing. Is there a standard measurement that the framing should be so the drain in the shower is directly over the roughed-in drain? Or does it change between shower manufacturers? Should I just go to the home center and measure a shower?

Every shower is different. You would be wise to pick up a shower and use it's measurements.
If in doubt, most plumbers will block out for the p-trap and install at the time the shower is installed.
