Toilet leak at base

Hi,I have a 4" cast iron pipe that my toilet sits on. The pipe is 4 ft to the bottom and 90 degrees to the septic tank. I have used many wax rings and what happens is soon after install it starts blowing water out between the floor and base of toilet. I found a rubber ring and it flued great, best it ever has, for about 1 week. Now it is doing the same thing. I feel it is that there is no vent for the pipe. If that is it how would I add a vent to that pipe? Those are my 2 questions: Could the no vent be the problem and the how would I add one.
