Hi Terry: First off, love your site and thanks for the great forum.
I have a problem. I had a "handyman" install a toilet on the main level of my home. He has since moved on, it was never inspected (my fault) and I just noticed that the vent pipe goes into my ceiling and is capped. It does not exit the house.
It looks almost impossible to run this up to the roof due to the second floor design it would have to move through. Can one ever vent a toilet out the side of the house instead of the roof? Is there such a thing as a "ventless toilet"?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
