I have a bathroom installed in the basement of my home. The sewage ejector pump causes a large "bang" after it shuts off. I am certain that the noise is caused by the water closing the check valve. I have tried moving the check valve to the top of the line and to the bottom, but it does not make any difference in the noise. Is there a way to eliminate or at least reduce the "bang"? |
