|In response to Re: Old House Furnace|
Thanks a great deal; got me started in the right direction. The regulator control valve was stopped up completely and I was not adding any water to the system for sometime. It was so bad I have to replace the valve.
: If you had a vacuum instead of air/water discharge, you do not have enough pressure in the system. Adjust the water filler pressure setting.
: : Got this old Victorian house with the radiator heat, gas boiler which is great; love it. One of my radiators at the highest point (back bathroom) did heat and quit. I bleed the air valve and instead of blowing out it had a vaccum. Did the purge water from the pump but don't seem to help. I don't think it is blocked. Could I have other problems?
