Tired: From what I gather, the leak only shows up when a large volume of water is flowing out of the tub. That would indicate a leak at the slip joint connection on the tee of the waste and overflow. It should be an easy fix if there is an access panel or door to it. See if there is a panel in the wall at the drain end of the tub (it may be in an adjoining room or closet). Lots of luck.. Bud We recently bought a 20 yr. old home. When the front bathroom tub has been full and is draining, occasionaly water runs out from underneath the wall opposite the drain and in the hall outside the bathroom. This does not occur when one showers.
