: I have 3 Flushmates in Gerber toilets, most fabulous idea since sliced bread. Unfortunately, one of them keeps spraying a rather powerful burst of water out of the washers that connect the tank and bowl. I am not a plumber, though prior to these toilets I plunged enough to be one, so please help in layperson terms. Thanks!

Most of the time, this can be fixed by pulling the tank down tighter on the bowl by snugging down the nuts on the tank bolts. If the supply line is ridgid copper, this may be hard to do. A flexible supply line may be needed, or a replacement of the ridgid supply if this is what you have.
