I have an 80 year old home. The drain pipes need replacing. I was told by roto-rooter that previous owner put in a poor grade of pipe and he couldn't snake it because he said he would tear it up. The pipe that is exposed on the street has collapsed. I ran a hose through it and no water made it to the street, just in my basement.I wanted to know what materials will I need to do the job myself. I was told a PVC pipe would be best. Is this a job that anyone would does a little reading can do?
