musty smell

In the spring we moved into home here in Pennsylvania. the home is about 10 years old, seemingly good quality and so on. Recently however, we have notice a very musty smell coming from our plumbing. Particulary when we run the kids bath at night but now even when wash something in the kitchen sink. I say it is a musty smell, my wife thinks it smells a bit like chlorine. Any ideas about the cause and/or possible correction? -d
