To do it correctly and not have problems afterwards, you would be best served by having a plumber make the installation. Just putting a tee in the line for the toilet can cause it to syphon out when the upstairs toilet is flushed. : I would like to add a toilet to the main floor of a old two story house which has the only toilet on the second floor. It will require me to tap into a cast iron four inch stack. Please advise with any tips and what type of connection materials.
