That will tell you where, and in which direction to look.

Make a 3 inch long 90 degree bend on a long stiff wire and push it into the 4 inch abs drain line feeling for a branch line or tee fitting where the 1 1/2 inch shower drain flows into the sewer line. That will tell you where, and in which direction to look.
