After you get it apart, what are you going to do with it? The stoppage is not supposed to be in the trap or cabinet drain pipes so you will still need a drain snake. It is ofter cheaper to have a plumber come and use his than to rent one with all the headaches you could get into and then still need to hire a plumber if it doesn't work. : Hi; Our kithen sink has been plugged for a couple weeks; I've tried "liquid plumber, foamy" several times well as plunging
