Our city water is terrible. So I never hooked up the ice-maker in our refrigerator. I am now considering using bottled water to feed the ice-maker. 1.> Is there an addaptor for such purpose? If so, where can I find it? 2.> Will gravity supply enough water pressure if I put the water holder on top of the refrigerator? 3.> I know water pressure is determined by depth (or height), but how much psi per foot of rise (or fall)? ...(book stats require 20-120 psi)... 4.> Any suggestions for the plumbing/supply assembly? Thanks. PS: Thanks for this forum. I found it entertaining as well as educational. It was a nice surprise on Altavista search under "water pressure." |
