First I want to thank you for your quick responce to my question about removing the bathtub drain. I got it out and the "hole" in the tub was only a flaw in the cast iron. Now I need help on how to make a connection from 3/4" galvinized pipe to 3/4" copper pipe. This is for a water softener hook-up. the water softener has copper pipes coming from it and I have galvinized coming from the house.
