bathroom sink

Our bathroom sink is chipping in a few places in the bowl. We tried applying porcelain touchup glaze,
but it is not very effective. The glaze peels off in layers. Should we replace the sink or should we get it
professionally re-glazed? What is cheaper? If we decide to replace the bowl, is the process easy enough
so that we can do it ourselves, or is it necessary to get a professional?

Thanks!
Tara.
