The only problem is that PVC, the white plastic, is not supposed to be used indoors and should never be used on hot water pipes. If you repipe, use the cream colored CPVC pipes which can stand hot water, and be sure to use a primer and the correct glue.

: I live in a 27 foot travel trailer and am in Denver. Last year a neighbor replaced my indoor water pipes and I also added a 40 gallon water heater. It appears that for some unknown reason to me the pipes are busting at the connection points. They are pvc white plastic.
: I would like to repair the piples correctly and have an idea that possibly this time I will have to replace the water heater with a smaller one. Is there a correlation and what could the pipe repair person who came out
: less than 6 months ago do differently ???

: I am pretty much in need of this information as I sit listening to the water leaking.

: Thank you for any help or suggestions you may have.
