| In response to Re: Cast Iron Sinks Again | |

He must not have been familiar with cast iron sinks. They are as good, if not better, than the ones made in earlier years. : In shopping for a kitchen sink replacement, my husband & I were told by one salesperson that the cast iron ones manufactured today are no good. I loved the one I had once upon a time for 9 years. I was very careful with it (used rubber mats & no cleansers...just soap & water)and had no trouble with chipping etc. This one we are replacing is stainless & though stainless is nice, I am tired of it. I don't like the looks of the manmade products and really would like to go back to the cast iron. Also, I am afraid the manmade products will stain, as we have rust in our water.
