A few years ago, I called the (licensed)plumber to install a temporary faucet, at the street, on a new house I was building. (This was on a community well water line). The purpose of the faucet was to give the bricklayers a source of water. He called me back when the faucet was installed so I called the bricklayers to let them know it was ready. The bricklayer called to tell me the faucet did not work. When I went to check on the problem, I found that the plumber had put the faucet on the gas line in front of the house. Fortunately the gas line had not been charged.
