|In response to Re: toilet with four closet bolts|
: I am going to replace my toilet but, I noticed that the existing toilet has 4 closet bolts. The new toilet only has space for 2 closet bolts. Am I going to have to repace the closet flange in order for the new toilet to fit? If not, are there any other problems I will run into because of the two extra bolts?
As long as the back bolts are 12" from the wall there is no problem. You will only need two bolts to hold it down. If the bolts are in the 10" or 14" range, you will need to get a toilet that matches that. Some toilets can be had with tanks that in fact are the adjustment, and use the same bowl. Terry
