The faucets have a handle that you turn which causes a screw thread to make the stem of the valve get closer or farther away from the valve seat. You need to turn off the water to the house, unscrew the valve stems and look at the rubber washers in the base, Those rubber washers have a brass screw in their center that you can remove, and pry out the washer, and go to the hardware store get a new washer, and re-assemble.
